February 26, 2008 - The team lost three major players in 2006 when co-captain Carmelo Anthony, shooting guard J.R. Smith, and forward Nene were suspended due to fighting in the remaining two minutes of time against the New York Nicks on December 19. The players were suspended for 15, 10, and 1 games respectively. This caused the team to not perform up to par during the 06-07 season. Hopefully the guys will be able to keep their heads in the game during the 07-08 season to bring Colorado a much deserved championship win.
